The Western North Carolina Fly Fishing Trail is a local project that is attracting national attention! The Trail, situated in Jackson County, features some of the best trout waters in the Great Smoky Mountains. The Jackson County Tourism Authority developed the trail in 2009, which takes anglers to 15 prime spots across this beautiful county in the Great Smoky Mountains.
